Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

ArkandSoft is an independent software studio run by Oscar Quintero in Canada. This policy covers arkandsoft.com only. Each of our products (IndieSignal, Auditly, WiseGrocer, Project Check) has its own privacy policy on its own site, and that policy applies when you use the product.

2. What we collect

A language cookie. When you first visit, we set a cookie named “locale” with the value “en” or “es”, based on your browser’s language setting or the language toggle. It lasts one year, contains nothing else, and is needed for the site to show the right language.

Server logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t use these logs to identify or profile visitors.

Emails you send us. If you write to hello@arkandsoft.com, we keep your message and address so we can reply.

We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking pixels on this site, and we don’t sell or share personal data.

3. Who else processes data

Vercel Inc. hosts this site. Email is handled by our email provider. Both only process data to provide their service to us.

4. How long we keep it

The language cookie expires after one year, and you can delete it from your browser at any time. We keep emails for as long as the conversation is useful, and delete them if you ask.

5. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@arkandsoft.com and we’ll answer within 30 days.

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
